2017

STATUS MARCH 2017:
The Transportation Task Force was created to focus on this area. The work of the task force has been completed with a report issued in the summer of 2016. One action from the report was to designate a “Transportation Champion” (a person or group to build urgency, momentum and political will to make sustainable change to the transportation system). The Transportation Collaborative was created and held their first meeting in January.

STATUS SEPTEMBER 2017:
There are 4 sections in the Person Powered Mobility Plan 2040 (Active Transportation Plan). Ozark Greenways has endorsed the entire plan and has adopted the “Greenway Trail Plan for 20140” component. The plan needs to be endorsed and/or adopted by other groups before it can go to City Council.
