Reduce Poverty and Improve Quality of Life in Council Zone 1

OBJECTIVE: Reduce poverty by 5% in Council Zone 1 through Zone Blitz initiatives.
STATUS: Zone Blitz has been implementing action plans since the summer of 2016. Implementation plans to affect change exist for ten separate teams. Move Families Out of Poverty through the Northwest Project

OBJECTIVE: Assist 500 families to reach a household income at or greater than 200% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL).
STATUS: The Northwest Project has expanded to four locations, Grant Beach, Woodland Heights, Robberson and Heart of the Westside neighborhoods. Fifty graduates have completed a 16 week program and there has been a 100% increase in employment of participants.

Create Comprehensive Case Management System

OBJECTIVE: Develop and implement a community-wide case management and common data software system to meet health and human service needs.
STATUS: The Community Partnership of the Ozarks received a 3-year grant from the Missouri Foundation for Health to implement the Comprehensive Case Management project over the next three years. A project coordinator will be hired within the next 30 days.
